(2E,6E)-farnesoate,[reduced NADPH-hemoprotein reductase]:oxygen oxidoreductase
A cytochrome P-450 (heme-thiolate) protein. The enzyme, found in Lepidoptera (moths and butterflies), is specific for farnesoate (cf. EC 1.14.14.127, methyl farnesoate epoxidase) [1,2]. It is involved in the synthesis of juvenile hormone.
