General Information

General Information Comment Organism
physiological function activity of 12S-lipoxygenase is hardly observed in liver cytosol of normal chow-fed mice but is clearly detectable in that of nonalcoholic steatohepatitis model mice prepared. The expression levels of mRNA and protein of platelet-type 12S-lipoxygenase in the liver of methionine- and choline-deficient diet-fed mice are significantly increased compared with those of normal chow-fed mice. Platelet-type 12S-lipoxygenase colocalizes with alpha-smooth muscle actin as well as vitamin A in the cells distributing along liver sinusoids Mus musculus
